Rie Elise Larsen {a stylist with style}

I simply fell in love with designer and stylist Rie Elise Larsen’s pieces. Her collection of home decor and accessories are filled with a fantastic palette of colors and I think the hand stitched quilts of color are just magnificent. Ok, back to her quilts! It got me thinking that I would love to incorporate some hand stitching in my own textile pieces. I find charm in handmade pieces in which you can see minor imperfections and in my opinion it gives each piece their own character and truly makes each one…one-of-a-kind! Plus I am sure that it would be quite relaxing to sit on your comfy couch or favorite chair and embellish/stitch your creations than sitting and leaning over a a loud sewing machine!
