Oh just look at it! It’s a quaint little space flooded with sunlight, charm, and serenity. Just enough space to bake pretty pastries and heartwarming soups.
I LOVE this kitchen by Det Mondaene Skur, however, I would make one slight renovation…all it needs is a nice little chopping block island in the center and I would be in heaven. Oh I can just smell the blueberry pie and ginger tea cooling off now:)
Oh My!!!!! I am not sure how I ended up on the Big Chill website, but somehow throughout my scavenger hunt for beautiful things I did, and I fell in love with these kitchens that they have featured in their gallery! I wish I could spend a day or two cooking and creating in each and everyone of them. I do not have a favorite as they are all equally enticing!
I would love to have a Big Chill fridge in my future kitchen…not sure what color, but I think they are super cute and while they are very retro, you can really incorporate them in many different genres of design!
My favorite part of this kitchen designed by Briger + Briger is the pantry! I would LOVE to have a pantry like this with all of my entertaining gems organized in such a way! Wouldn’t it be great to have a closet/room dedicated to nothing but entertaining decor like napkins, tea towels, mugs, wine glasses, name plates, center pieces, candles, and such! The stack of cookbooks, china, and tea sets are nice and I love the ladder for the hard to reach items!
When we buy our first home, I am hoping that is filled with light and I definitely hope it has an open floor plan, especially in the kitchen. There is nothing worse than cooking up dinner behind a big wall, where you cannot see anything or be apart of the conversations of company. So, I hope that I have a wonderful kitchen that feels more like a living space than just a kitchen. With that said, I really like the amount of light and the open airy feel of these two island style kitchens from the website of Tara Dennis!
Oooh! I am in love with this kitchen from House to Home UK. I am a big fan of using blue in the home and would love to have a kitchen or bathroom this color & the sink is fantastic!
I love this kitchen, and it is very rare to find a pink one! The chalkboard paint on the side of the counter is perfect for those with kids(that’s sure to keep them busy at least for a few minutes while you cook dinner) and that clock is fantastic too!

Oh, let’s pretend for a minute that you live in a cozy Parisian flat that is decorated so sweetly, and that you have used every ounce of your creativity to fill in the small nooks and crannies. As you sip on some honey sweetened tea you step out on to your veranda off from your bedroom which is luminating with jasmine scented candles, & you wander in the mist of glittering night scapes and beautiful architecture and daydream a bit about your goals and accomplishments. Then you step back in, blow out your candles and slip into your fluffy bed of comfort that is lined with soft Egyptian cotton. Then you feel a bit of a pinch…and realize it was only a dream!
These Parisian flats really brings me inspiration. Especially these cute and cozy kitchens accented with a bit of lemon and a bit of lime. Most flats may be small in square footage, but I particularly like the challenge of making something tiny and somewhat mundane feel so huge with color, decor, and lighting.
The text written on the kitchen wall below is nice, as well as the line drawing in what seems to be a bath or dressing room.
