Sweetpea & Willow: French Furniture

Sometimes I tend to have a real girly girl style! Most of the time I prefer eclectic hues and styles that portray more of a shabby chic bohemian style, but every now and then I imagine a room that would be adorned in french goodness! Pretty lighting, delicate bedding, soft florals & patterns, and candy coated colors. The collections of Sweetpea & Willow reminds me of my love for french decor. My favorite, of course is their Designer Collection. I just love the colors! So, if you are in need of some french inspiration, then head on over and browse through their pieces. They have a wonderful collection of chairs, sofas, beds, mirrors, and lounges just to name a few! Have fun!

Squint Limited: Lisa Whatmough

Designer Lisa Whatmough of Squint Limited is absolutely amazing! As far as my personal style goes, I absolutely adore an eclectic and clever combination of patterns, bold and striking colors, textures, and random composed shapes. The collection of Squint is the epitome of what I love about design..fun, colorful, and artistic! I would be in heaven if I had a studio with accents of furniture such as this..oh why yes..I would sit on my custom sofa of magentas, sage greens, eggplant purples, and teal blues, and sip on some lavender tea s I sketch away my dreams within my sketchbook! Squint is located in East London, and I am sure it would be heaven to visit! Oh, how I want that Egg chair(top left)!!!! It’s so so pretty!

Cowtan & Tout

I am usually not one for too many florals or polka dots, but every now an then I come across patterns and colors like these from Cowtan & Tout and I just drool over the floral lushness, especially the Jane Churchill Ellsworth Sofa! Their entire collection(which consist of Colefax & Fowler, Cowtan & Tout, Jane Churchill, Larsen, and Manuel Canovas) did not win me over, but these select few I thought were quite lovely. Usually florals are associated with a “country” feel, so I usually like when I see them used in a more contemporary/eclectic scene. What about you…are you a sucker for florals or do you leave them out in the garden?
