Oh..I love the crisp tones of white…so bright, pretty, and lush!

I’m back everybody! Well, how was your holiday? I am sure we are all ready for the new year to come as there are so many creative endeavors that I want to sink my heart in! The little one & I spent some time making paper snowflakes for our tree and gingerbread houses and gingerbread men, and we spent a lovely two days celebrating Christmas with my parents in Atlanta. I am super excited because over my little break I managed to finally obtain a cookie press, some bamboo knitting needles, a few quality paintbrushes, and a few yards of white cotton fabric to practice some hand printing! The baby in the belly seems to be doing just fine thus far, I go for a checkup this afternoon, and how I would love for her to just tell us the gender already!

Nevertheless, to make up for my m.i.a moments I thought I would share a pretty spectacular portfolio of the fabulous design firm Sixx Design! Enjoy!

Oh! I LOVE this room on Kips Bay which is designed by Drake Design Associates(Jamie Drake). Pinks, plums, whites, blacks, & lilacs and lavenders. It’s all so very pretty, and how about that closet! Drool…I wouldn’t know what to so with myself with a dressing room such as this!

Good morning Sunshine! Who knew that something as mundane as making up the bed could be filled with so many colorful, whimsical, and just out right beautiful vignettes to capture! I simply fell in love with this “Making the Bed” flickr set of jek in the box! This totally makes me want to collect antique and colorful sheets, quilts, and spreads to adorn my bed with or even to stack them up on a chair to brighten up a lonely corner; or maybe to have for those mid-day beauty rests and cold winter nights. It’s all just simply beautiful & makes me smile! Thanks Jessica for letting me share your creative space on Jubella! Oh, let’s pretend for a minute that you live in a cozy Parisian flat that is decorated so sweetly, and that you have used every ounce of your creativity to fill in the small nooks and crannies. As you sip on some honey sweetened tea you step out on to your veranda off from your bedroom which is luminating with jasmine scented candles, & you wander in the mist of glittering night scapes and beautiful architecture and daydream a bit about your goals and accomplishments. Then you step back in, blow out your candles and slip into your fluffy bed of comfort that is lined with soft Egyptian cotton. Then you feel a bit of a pinch…and realize it was only a dream!

These Parisian flats really brings me inspiration. Especially these cute and cozy kitchens accented with a bit of lemon and a bit of lime. Most flats may be small in square footage, but I particularly like the challenge of making something tiny and somewhat mundane feel so huge with color, decor, and lighting.

The text written on the kitchen wall below is nice, as well as the line drawing in what seems to be a bath or dressing room.
