Tessa Frye Swarthout {captured love}

Not to long ago a high school classmate of mine had a lovely baby girl named Nora and I simply fell in love with the creative photography that the photographer used to capture their little bundle of joy (aren’t they fantastic?)! The talented woman behind the photo shoot is Tessa Frye Swarthout of Light, Love, Laughter Photography. I love her pieces within her portfolio that carry a more soft vintage feel and when it comes to photography, I adore the use of Black and White and sepia tone!

Here are a few of my favorite pics from Tessa’s wedding portfolio. You can view more of her work by visiting her website and Blog.

Tessa is based in Atlanta, but she travels all over the world to capture your special moments, so if you are in need of a fabulous baby, family, engagement, portrait, or wedding photographer, then be sure to head on over and let her know!

Cox & Cox {delightful wedding ideas}

Cox & Cox has some cute products to adorn your wedding or for that matter any other party with. Here are a few of my favorites. Isn’t the brown sugar heart in the pic above adorable, and the heart sugar cubes below would probably make a pretty easy DIY project! You can find all of their wedding products HERE.

Chloe & Maddie {elegant hair florals}

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

Oh how pretty these are! Fresh flowers are beautiful when adorned in your hair for that special day, but these beauties from Cloe and Maddie are absolutely gorgeous. The combination of the soft delicate feathers and the layers of fabric petals are too sweet!

Our Labor of Love

Do you ever come across a blog or website that is so full of beautiful imagery that you find yourself wanting to feature every image because you have a hard time picking just a handful out of so much eye candy? Well, that’s pretty much how I felt when I ran across the wedding photography site and blog of Our Labor of Love.

The nostalgic, magic, love, family, and romance that is captured by Whitney and Jesse, the creative duo behind Our Labor of Love is Beautiful! I love their artistic eye. Whether you are planning a wedding or planning a special event this blog will definitely inspire your creative entertainment and documenting ideas, and if you are in the Atlanta or California area, you should most definitely book them for your next event! My husband and I actually got hitched at the Savannah Georgia courthouse..which was quite fun and spontaneous(especially for me, I’m not so good at spontaneity, we will be celebrating our 10th year on the 23rd..yay!), but viewing these photos makes me want to throw a romantic shin dig JUST so I can have lovely photos to look at thereafter..lol. Anyhow, I am sure that you will enjoy these images as well as the colorful inspiration. I really love the wide range of ideas that are used within weddings, making them custom and unique…just like that of love!

Rebecca Thuss: Photo Stylist

Oh me oh my! The photo styling of Rebecca Thuss is absolutely amazing! The colors, the compositions, and the concepts are just fabulous. Her talents as a wedding designer and crafter definitely shows within her work! As stated on her website: “She delights in throwing parties, has a passion for packaging, a weakness for fanciful candy and confections, and an infatuation with vintage paper items”. If you are an avid reader of Martha Stewart Weddings, then you are probably familiar with her work, as she was the Style Director for the magazine from 2003-2006. Click Here to read more about Rebecca. Her website is filled with colorful and charming eye candy and great packaging and entertaining ideas, so consider yourself warned!

Cakes to Build a Dream On {it’s just cake}

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

Drool! This company out of Capitola, California ran by cake Designer Marina Sousa may be called “Just Cake”, but these cakes are hardly modest. The designs are superb, and the amount of detail is just divine and almost too pretty to devour! My absolute favorite is the white wedding cake that seem to be dripping with pearls…gorgeous! And how can one resist a menu that consists of ingredients like; white chocolate ganache, marzipan cream & apricots, and lemon mousse just to name a few! And how about the red cake with the white crane…isn’t that beautiful! She does such beautiful work don’t you think? So if you are in the California area, you might want to think about ordering one of these special custom gems for an upcoming wedding, bridal party, or any other special event! I am sure it would be heaven to sit and taste test these creations!

Sedona {cake couture}

Sunday, May 18th, 2008

Have you ever laid eyes on a cake that was just much too pretty to eat? Based out of Sedona, Arizona, Sedona Cakes are exceptionally designed by Cake Artist Andrea Blaut, and I am quite sure that having one of these at your wedding or shower would have your guests oohing and aahing over it even after your event is over. Cake flavors include “Pomegranate & White Chocolate”, “Tiramisu”, “Raspberry Chambord”, “Chocolate Decadence”, and “Pistachio Key Lime”, and her signature cake is a creamy vanilla cheesecake and flourless dark chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache, and studded with raspberries…Oh my!
