Rachel Whiting {colorific}

There is nothing more classic than an all white room accented with pops of juicy bright colors! I love these interior photos taken by London based photographer Rachel Whiting. I am constantly debating whether I should paint our walls back to white. I love how fresh and clean it makes a room feel and how you can change up the feel of a room with accent pieces!

Oh…I love all those photos. I lived with white walls for years and years in apartments and never minded it one bit. I always added all the color I needed through accessories. Now I have a home and most rooms are painted Ivory…just barely yellow. I really have no desire for big bold color on the walls. Although…I do love color on the ceiling. My living room has an aqua ceiling…dining room a pink ceiling and the breakfast nook has a periwinkle ceiling. I love looking up and seeing color.

I really love it! Until now I’ve been painting my walls in bold colors but some day I will make a big change and go for white with colorful details.
My only doubt is that an all white house should have some interesting architectural elements, I think, and mine doesn’t.

Oh my! How beautiful… it’s amazing how ever colour looks that more rich and alive against white. Oh, and I just looooove ceramics. I can stare at these bowls and bottles whole day.
I intend to experiment with white walls and coloured accessories when I get my home

Very beautiful!
I have recently had the pleasure of spending time in Denmark and I love the way Scandinavian homes are not afraid of being very white! It is so clean and fresh. And if the air smells nice than it is a guaranteed mood booster!

I’m obsessed with all white rooms with pops of color!
This is my dream for my dining room. I’m on the hunt for an all white table for months, but I can’t find any that I LOVE.
Thanks for sharing.

Until now I\’ve been painting my living rooms with intense colors. I love color. But lately I\’ve been seriously tempted to try the all white with splashes of bright colors. I agree it\’s so refreshing. I think the day is close.

I think it is interesting how the designer uses white walls as the canvas to show off details like color and accessories. Thanks for sharing.

Those pics are beautiful!! I agree, white is so fresh and really opens up accents to just about any color. I usually end up putting color on the walls and it gets kind of limiting… and then i think about how lovely it is to walk into a new place that\\\’s completely empty and painted all white; very liberating as it is open to any bright, colorful accents! -amy

I really do love truly white walls. My apartments are an off white and it’s just not the same.
