My New Craft Space {spring is in the air}
This is my new craft/office space. It’s not a grand little space, but it does the job. It’s smack dab in our living room…giving me a birds eye view of all that’s going on with the kids and such. Organizing all of my little fabric remnants and crafty books, and sewing supplies really kicked off the season of spring. I also think I had a major urge to start nesting. With a new baby on his way, it makes me want to renew and cleanse constantly! I love spring babies! I finally started a patio garden for the year. Wish me luck. I tried to keep it simple, as I know that I will have very limited time with the new baby coming in 2 weeks! If only I can remember to water them, then all will be well!
So anyhow, this is where I spend most of my time, day and night. My favorite characters of this space are my travel cases(one which holds Amy Butler patterns at the very top), my idea to just place two bookshelves on top of my table(which I recently stripped of so many layers of paint), and my stash of beads from past jewelry projects. At the end of a long day I love sitting here, browsing the web, and enjoying a sweet dessert!

What a great space! It looks like it should be in the “Where Women Create” book!

i love your space! i wish my work areas looked so fresh and springy…i can only imagine what an uplifting area during the long days of winter!
i’m so starting to like aqua blue…it has creeped up into my top 5 colors! yellow will always be #1 for me though.
your patio garden is beautiful…i want to hopefully get into potted plants too…maybe next year or during the fall. and yes, all you gotta do is remember to water them…especially during the hot days of summer.
can’t believe the new baby will be here in 2 weeks!!! sending you loving vibes for a wonderful and safe delivery!

Just painted my turq. floor black, but the dirt still shows … I luv your space. I noticed the commet above about where women create and I have been follow n this mag. and the Studios mag and I have decided I will no longer buy them due to the lack of AA studios featured. I would very much like to partner with someone to correct this wrong.

Love your space! It looks cozy and girly. Makes me wanna grab a chair, put it right next to yours, pull out one of those mags from under your desk, sip some chai and have girl chat.

I love how you use jars to store your pens and such. I also like the bakset underneath your desk where you store magazines.

I love the color on the walls! I’ve always wanted to have a workspace painted that color, but since my “office” space is open to the living room, I’ll have to live vicariously through you
I’m also loving your fabric stash and those vintage suitcases under the desk. Not to mention your gorgeous little one who snuck into the photo. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have long visited your web site but am a first time “commentor”. I only wish I had a space as fabulous as yours! I absolutely love the blue. I am LOVING your canvas “fly” tote. I googled and got a fabulous blog of where the original design is, but can’t figure out where to purchase the tote! Do you mind sharing?
