Firmdale Hotels {gotta get there}

Oh, wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy a nights stay in one of the rooms via Firmdale Hotels. I think these rooms are grand and really take on the feeling of home in comparison to the generic decor.

I have been working in interior design for 12 years. In the last 10 doing boutique hotels. It always puzzles me why people who are venturing into transforming ruins into welcoming, habitable places, are so shy and conservative when it comes to decorating. You really have to push gently for that little touch of umph! White and beige are great canvases but a touch of surprising green or violet or orange add such zest to a place! Earth tones are fine but wouldn’t you feel happier stepping into that stylish fuchsia room? It would definitively make me jump up and down with excitement!

The black, silver, gray, and white room is so relaxing looking. Some people would say cold, but I think the lack of color stimuli works. Sometimes you need a respite from color.
