The Home Office Part 2 of 3 {inspiring the creative space}

So yesterday we talked about many of the basics of organizing your home office/studio, so I though today would be good for focusing on the creative aspects that you incorporate into your space. With that said, I would love to introduce a magazine that my husband treated me to this weekend called “Where Women Create”. This magazine is heaven and filled with so much creative space inspiration. This is a mag that you not only get a kick out of drooling over all of the amazing work spaces, but you really can enjoy reading as it is chock full of creative tips and photographs of creative work arrangements and décor. I have spent hours just zooming in to the photos and I have found tons of unique ideas using non-ordinary items for storage and décor. The photos below are from their most recent issue(psst…Rebecca Purcell, author of Inerior Alchemy and freelance stylist/art director for Anthropologie’s catalog is featured in this issue!) and perfectly exemplifies a lot of the things that I pointed out in yesterdays post.

Creating the ambiance in your creative space is by far just as important as the creative work you produce. The more welcoming your space is, the more likely you are to want to go to work! It’s the same concept that I talked about a while ago when it comes to Creative Cooking.
