Eileen Kathryn Boyd {fashion inspired decor}
I LOVE how interior designer Eileen Kathryn Boyd fuses the colors and patterns from fashion within her home. It’s bold, bright, and rich! This has me wanting to use kelly green somewhere in my future home…maybe a half bathroom; and her closet…ahem, I mean dressing room haven is gorgeous. I would so love to toss through my clothes in such a room.

Love that last sentiment – go to the closet and pick out the item that always makes you feel good, and use it to inspire the way you furnish your home paraphrasing, obviously
I thought about my favourite item of clothing that always makes me feel great. A top, my favourite shade of red, with gold thread accents. And I looked around my sitting room – curtains in that shade of red with bits of gold. Cushions with that shade of red in and with gold thread detail. And a few other red and gold accents around the room.
I had done what Eileen suggested, without even being aware that I had done it. But this is my favourite room and I always feel good when I am in it. And now it has clicked into place why.

I like her design style and the colors in her home. This is a great video. I have done that same idea in my bedroom as well, using colors that I usually dress myself in and it is my favorite place. Thanks for sharing this.
